The UNC Board of Trustees unanimously passed a resolution on Wednesday asking Holden Thorp to reconsider his resignation; the faculty passed a similar motion the day before. And thus the great paradox about Thorp's tenure: he may have handled the football and associated messes poorly, but in leading the University on a day-to-day basis, by all accounts he has done wonderfully.
BOT Joins Faculty in Asking Thorp to Stay
Let's hope Thorp sticks to his guns and leaves honorably and on his own terms.
