It’s our first Around the ACC Blogosphere of the year! So much happened in the past week… It’s was the ACC’s best bowl season in years with marquee wins over the USC Trojans, LSU Tigers, and an Orange Bowl win.

Even Louisville’s win over Florida while not officially ACC caught the attention of ACC fans.

So let’s get to it…

ShakintheSouthland had been in month long funk since losing to South Carolina… They look at the positives of the win.  As I said the Tigers were 1 Chick Fil A Bowl win over LSU from ending the season on a huge high note rather than a very disappointing and empty two game losing streak.

TomahawkNation takes a look back at Florida State’s first BCS win since 2000, in their Orange Bowl win over NIU.

The ACC’s fourth bowl win was Virginia Tech over Co-Big East Champ Rutgers. Not a thing of beauty, but could you imagine an off-season in Blacksburg following a a 6-7 year? GobblerCountry analyzes the dominating defense, and underwhelming offense.

What is the secret to Duke’s basketball success? Duke Sports Blog tells you…

In honor of future ACC member Louisville’s Sugar Bowl win over Florida. Here’s CardChronicle’s reaction.
