As is tradition around here, with a quiet night in the ACC, it is time for another edition of Hot & Not...

HOT
- Toney Douglas - After averaging just over 10 ppg in his first 4 games, Douglas has sinced averaged 17.7 ppg. While some have questioned Douglas' ability to play point guard, no one has questioned his ability to score.
- Brian Asbury - Asbury has averaged over 15 ppg over his last 5 games and is having quite the sophomore campaign. With the Hurricanes losing Robert Hite and Guillermo Diaz from a season ago, Asbury has emerged as a solid 2nd option to Jack McClinton.
- Jared Dudley - Dudley has done it all on the court this season, with 3 20+ scoring games, 5 double-doubles, and is nearly averaging a double-double for Boston College. Dudley is showing off his versatility on the court and is putting up numbers despite being the focus of opposing defenses.
NOT
- Shamari Spears - After scoring 36 pts in his first two games, Spears has seen his playing time and touches go down. Spears got the opportunity to start when Sean Williams out of the lineup, but expect Spears to slide further down the bench when Akida McLain returns against Kansas.
- Wes Miller - Miller averaged nearly 7 ppg in conference play a season ago, but the deep freshman class has seen Miller's playing time and scoring contributions nearly vanish. Miller has yet to attempt a 2 point shot on the year, and is making under 30% of his three point attempts.
- Jamon Gordon - Gordon averaged nearly 13 ppg in conference play a season ago, and is averaging barely 10 ppg this season. While Gordon's assists per game has gone up to 4.3, his rebounds have gone from 6.4 last season to 3.4 this year causing his fantasy value to drop.
