While the rest of the ACC was off on Thursday, Florida State went on the road to Georgia State and won 87-55. The 'Noles were led by 25 pts and 3 stls from Toney Douglas and 20 pts and 9 rebs from Al Thornton. Jason Rich was the only other Seminole in double-figures with 10 pts. Toney Douglas was 10-14 from the field, including 5-6 from three point range for his 25 pts, while Al Thornton did most of his damage from the charity stripe. Thornton went 10-12 from the free throw line. |

In other ACC news, Jamal Boykin has decided to transfer from Duke. Boykin had played sparingly before coming down with mono a few weeks ago. With top 10 recruit, Kyle Singler, coming in next season and Brian Zoubek and Lance Thomas on the roster currently, the Blue Devils should have enough size, even if Josh McRoberts opts to go to the NBA.
The Miami Hurricanes got some bad news, as Anthony King will be out for three weeks with a wrist injury. Frank Haith hopes King can return for the Canes next conference game on January 6th against Wake Forest. With King out of the lineup Jimmy Graham and freshman, Dwayne Collins will be expected to step up along with Raymond Hicks and Fabio Nass.
