The ACC went 2-1 on Thanksgiving with Clemson losing to Gonzaga in a close game as the league's only loss. If the Tigers would've have beat the Zags it would have arguably been the league's 2nd best win of the season next to Duke's win over Kentucky. While the Clemson defense was outstanding, Brad Brownell simply couldn't find enough offense to get past Gonzaga.
Duke won its opener in the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament, defeating Minnesota 89-71. The Blue Devils were on fire from 3 point range, making 8-10 from long range. Mason Plumlee had another huge game with 20 points and 17 rebounds, while Seth Curry added 25 points to lead the team. Duke will face VCU tonight in a semifinal matchup. It remains to be seen if Curry will be able to play 3 games in 3 days due to his shin splits/stress reaction in his leg.
Georgia Tech won its opener in the Old Spice Classic over Rice 54-36 and will play California tonight at midnight.
Seven ACC games today with all of them available to be watched either on TV or online via ESPN3. Check out the schedule below.
