With no games in the ACC last night, it marks a good time to talk about this weeks' HOT & NOT...

Hot
- Gavin Grant - Grant is taking over at point guard while Engin Atsur is out for NC State, and has done well. Grant is filling up the box score this season, averaging 17.5 ppg, 5.2 rpg, and 4.5 apg.
- Lewis Clinch - Clinch plays on a deep Georgia Tech team, but has had no trouble getting minutes or putting up numbers. Clinch has posted 3 straight 20+ games and hasn't scored less than 14 pts in a game this season.
- Ben McCauley - McCauley posted 26 pts in the Wolfpack opener, but then posted games of 5 and 6 pts. Since McCauley is averaging 15 ppg and 7 rpg, showing off a variety of skills in the post.
Not
- Brian Zoubek - As is common with most freshmen, Brian Zoubek has been extremely inconsistent, posting 3 games in double-figures, but also having 4 games scoring 4 or less. Zoubek has often disappeared against tougher competition.
- Harvey Hale - Hale was expected to be the featured backcourt player for the Demon Deacons, but instead Hale is now coming off the bench. Hale is averaging 10.4 ppg but most of that comes from a combined 39 pts in Hale's first 2 games.
- Reyshawn Terry - Terry has reached double-figures just 3 times this season, including a 16 pt effort against Kentucky on Sunday. Terry has really struggled adjusting to a decrease in shot attempts, and it appears that the senior has let it affect the rest of his game.
