To all the owners on SCACCHoops.com or prospective owners, this weekend marks the beginning of conference play as Virginia takes on NC State and Miami takes on Georgia Tech, both on Sunday.
The two links listed above will take you to the Game Notes for each page, and if you are familiar with the Game Notes for non-conference games, you will notice something unique. For conference games there are some interesting additions to the Game Notes page. First, you will see an "Efficiency Predicted Final Score", which basically gives the final score if the two teams continued to play exactly as they have thus far this season.
There is no science to picking a score to a game, but this does a pretty decent job as the season goes along, so definitely check it out.
When you login and view the Game Notes, you will see two more additions, which can be seen here:
Virginia vs NC State (Login Required)
Georgia Tech vs Miami (Login Required)
Once logged in, you will notice a few other features including for each player a listing of which particular owner has the player on their roster. Also, you will see a Projected Fantasy Points value, which uses the following factors:
- Team's Fantasy Performance
- Prior Opponent's Fantasy Performance
- Opponent's Fantasy Performance
- Player's Prior Performance Against the Opponent
With conference play approaching we encourage you to check out these features to help you in your roster management.
Finally, we also would like to invite all owners to participate in the Game Picking Contest that is new to the site this year. The Picking Contest is available to registered owners and is for ACC conference games only. Make your selections and you will see how your picks match up against others in your league and against everyone on the site, including the Webmaster.
