Some quick thoughts on Maryland's 72-69 loss to Kentucky.

• Whoever said it in an earlier thread, was right:  Charles Mitchell IS the new Charles Barkley.  Kid was born to rebound.  LOVE HIM
• Seth Allen will start at PG before the new year.  Kid is a baller.  He knows how to feed the paint.  He's quick and can shoot.  Pe'shon will be coming off the bench.
• Nick Faust plays like this is HIS team when he's at best the third best player on the team.
• Dez Wells is a leader.  He probably played his worst game of the year for us.
• What can you say about Alex Len other than he is likely to be a lottery pick.  This is probably the last year we will have him.  His improvement is startling.  He's dominant.
• Terps will probably get Top 25 votes this week even with the loss.  This game was a coming out party.  Terps announced their presence on the national stage tonight.
• Maryland will probably not get outrebounded all season but they will definitely shoot better.
• Jake Layman MUST lose the Blaine Gabbert haircut.
• Looking at the schedule, I think Maryland will be 15-1 heading into the NC State.  Schedule is weak but tell me that you disagree with me after what you just saw?
• I've never felt so good about a Terp loss in my entire life.
