Boston College bounced back on Saturday getting a win over Rhode Island 86-68. Sean Marshall led the way for the Eagles with 23 pts and 8 rebs, while Jared Dudley finished with 18 pts, 10 rebs, and 5 asts. In his 2nd game of the season, Sean Williams followed up his 12 block night with another 7 blocks against Rhode Island and also added 13 pts, 5 rebs, and 4 stls.

At the point guard position, Tyrese Rice is still learning to lead the Eagles, but finished with 19 pts, 5 asts, 5 rebs, but also 5 turnovers. On the season Rice has an assist turnover ratio of 1 to 1, an area the Al Skinner hopes to see him improve.
Duke also bounced back after a loss, as the Blue Devils took down Davidson 75-47. Duke held Davidson to just 29% shooting from the field and 16% from behind the arc and forced 16 turnovers.
Josh McRoberts and Jon Scheyer led the way with 14 pts a piece, while McRoberts also added 9 rebs and 4 asts. Scheyer started at point guard, while Greg Paulus came off the bench to add 6 asts against just 2 turnovers. Brian Zoubek (12 pts, 7 rebs) and Gerald Henderson (10 pts) each scored in double-figures, as well.
Miami took out Lafayette 98-66, while forcing 21 turnovers and outrebounding Lafayette 39-28. Jack McClinton led the way with 23 pts on 7-11 shooting, including 4-6 from behind the arc. Sophomore, Brian Asbury, continued his improved play with 19 pts, 4 rebs, 3 stls, and 3 blks.
Anthony King played just 15 minutes due to foul trouble and did not score, going 0-5 from the field.
In the final game of the day, Wake Forest beat Appalachian St 88-78. Kyle Visser led the way with a double-double with 17 pts and 10 rebs, and freshman Ish Smith added 14 pts, 8 asts, and 5 rebs. Harvey Hale (13 pts), Jamie Skeen (12 pts, 8 rebs), and Anthony Gurley (10 pts, 4 rebs) all finished in double-figures, as well.
