Why even pretend to include a school like Maryland in the decision process when all along you were planning on attending the NBA Lottery Factory? I'm not even upset that they chose Kentucky, I'm just mad that Maryland was led on like that. Kentucky is an easy choice and the rationale obvious. If those factors were so important (easy path to lottery, national exposure, track record), why spend so much time wrestling with the decision?
Whatever. Let's move on. These kids will be playing for the Charlotte Bobcats and Cleveland Cavaliers respectively in two years. In six years, they will make their inevitable jump to the Lakers/Knicks/Heat/Nets. Very predictable. Very boring. Very depressing.
I will now await the NCAA decision on Dez Wells and try to figure out a way to get the last 30 minutes of my life back.
