Maryland beat St. John's 92-60 to move onto the finals of the 2K Sports Classic.  The Terps were led by a huge night from Ekene Ibekwe who finished with 22 pts and 14 rebs, while DJ Strawberry (19 pts) and Mike Jones (18 pts), and James Gist (12 pts, 10 rebs, 5 blks) all finished in double-figures.  Freshmen Eric Hayes and Greivis Vasquez combined to dish out 5 and 8 assists respectively against just 3 turnovers.

Maryland held St. John's to just 29% shooting from the field, and forced 17 turnovers in the win.

Duke never trailed in a 75-48 win over North Carolina GreensboroBrian Zoubek came off the bench to score 17 pts and add 7 rebs, while David McClure finished with 11 pts, 9 rebs, and 7 stls.  Greg Paulus did not start against UNCG, and finished with 4 pts, 3 asts, and 3 turnovers.

UNCG was held to 32% shooting from the field while the Blue Devils made 53% from the field.  Despite the win, Duke had trouble taking care of the ball with 21 turnovers against 18 assists.

Georgia Tech easily beat Georgia State 103-74 on Thursday nightLewis Clinch finished with 20 pts in just 18 minutes on 8-9 shooting from the field, and freshmen Thaddeus Young (19 pts, 4 asts) and Javaris Crittenton (18 pts, 9 asts, 4 rebs) each had fantastic nights for the Yellow Jackets in the win.  A player that I consider a sleeper in most fantasy leagues, Mouhammad Faye finished with 8 pts, 5 asts, 4 rebs, and 3 stls.
