Europe trip held mixed results for Virginia

The Virginia Cavaliers recently returned from their trip to Europe and VirginiaSports.com did a great job of recapping the trip.  Virginia went 2-3 on the trip, winning their first and last games and losing three in a row in the middle.

- Game 1: UVA won game one 89-62 over Netherlands B thanks to a big night from the freshmen.  Mike Tobey led the scoring attack with 18 points, while fellow freshmen Justin Anderson (15 pts) and Evan Nolte (13 pts) also reached double-figures.  Video Highlights Game Recap

- Game 2: UVA lost game two 82-73 over Netherlands B, but were led in scoring by Joe Harris' 23 points.  Jontel Evans scored 14 points while Akil Mitchell and freshman center Mike Tobey added 12 points each. Video Highlights Game Recap

- Game 3: The Cavaliers lost game three 102-97 to Gembo who won the Belgium Second Division last season.  Video Highlights

- Game 4: Virginia lost a close one 71-67 to AMW Team France despite a balanced scoring attack that saw every Virginia starter score at least 9 points.  Game Recap

- Game 5: Virginia finished off the 5 game Europe trip with a 82-65 win over AMW Team France.  Akil Mitchell led the way in the win with 15 points.  Game Recap
