This morning it was announced that FSU has dismissed Greg Reid from the team due to violation of team rules. Here's more from Tomahawk Nation.
Reid was arrested in Georgia last month on multiple misdemeanor charges including marijuana possession, driving on a suspended license and failure to wear a seatbelt.
It is unknown whether this dismissal is directly a result of the misdemeanor charges, or if Reid, who has faced internal discipline for other unreported issues numerous times in the last, possibly violated another team rule.
It's also possible that Reid failed another drug test, his third, possibly after being arrested for drugs, as we addressed in early July with 'No Courtesy Foul For Greg Reid."
Replacing Reid should be no easy task with his ability to make plays at cornerback, although his biggest skill was as a punt returner. Tomahawk Nation takes a look at what it will take to replace Reid.
Punt Returner
Sophomore receiver Rashad Greene is listed as the top punt returner after Reid. He has tremendous speed and quickness, and good moves as well.
Cornerback
Florida State's tremendously talented, deep and versatile secondary gives defensive coordinator and DB coach Mark Stoops tons of options here. It also makes it difficult for me to provide an exact answer.
