The Clemson Tigers beat Lithuania Academy 99-50 last night in Clemson's only exhibition game before opening up the season November 10th against Arkansas State. James Mays led the way with 19 pts, while KC Rivers added 17 pts, and Vernon Hamilton added 16 pts, 4 asts and 4 stls. Junior, Cliff Hammonds added 13, while Sam Perry had a strong all around night with 10 pts, 7 asts, and 7 rebounds. Freshman Trevor Booker started at power forward and scored 6 pts, but added 7 rebs, 3 blks, and 3 stls.
One of the most encouraging aspects for Oliver Purnell's team is the way they took care of the ball, and created for each other. The Tigers totaled 28 assists against just 15 turnovers.
