Raleigh, N.C. — North Carolina State forward Tyler Harris asked for and was granted his release Wednesday, paving the way for his transfer.
The 6-foot-8 freshman from St. Benedict’s Prep in New York said on his twitter page Wednesday, “Thank you for everything Wolfpack it's been great, I'm going to miss being here and being with my bros.”
Harris' minutes disappeared toward the latter part of the season. With NC State's incoming freshman class, it was hard to see where Harris' role would increase next season.
