Senior Montel Harris will not play his final season of football for Boston College. The Eagles announced today that Harris has been dismissed from the team. Here is more from BCEagles.com which features this quote from Frank Spaziani.
"Montel Harris has been permanently dismissed from our football team due to a repeated violation of team rules," Spaziani said. "We are grateful for his contributions the past four seasons and will support him in completing his degree requirements and in his future pursuits."
Harris had rushed for over 1000 yards in 2009 and 2010 before struggling with injuries and taking a medical redshirt last season.
