After a disappointing loss to LSU 62-54, the Blue Devils season is over. In the game LSU focused on double teaming JJ Redick and Shelden Williams the entire game, and Duke's supporting players simply didn't play well. Redick shot 3-18 from the field in his final game for 11 pts (tying his season low), while Shelden Williams faired much better scoring 23 pts and adding 13 rebounds.
The story of the game was the LSU defense which held Duke to a season-low 27 percent from the floor, including 19% from behind the 3 point arc.
The Webmaster came away most impressed by Tyrus Thomas who is incredibly quick off the floor. The redshirt freshman finished with 9 pts, 13 rebs, and 5 blks and two huge plays at the end of the game.
The sole remaining ACC team playing is now Boston College who will take on the 4 guard attack that is Villanova (7:10).

In the NIT, both Miami and FSU loss in the quarterfinals, ending the season for both teams.
