The ACC Tournament is over and I have to tell you the Saturday and Sunday games were vintage ACC basketball. High quality basketball, great teams, and Florida State emerged as your ACC Champion. Following that was the NCAA selection show, where NC State’s celebration at being selected was unadulterated joy. You have to love that.

So what do our ACC Bloggers have to say about all the fun?

Florida State blogger TomahawkNation was feeling great about the Noles winning the ACC Title. When your team wins a big tournament that is a fun time to be a blogger.

I’d have to say after Florida State the fan base feeling the best was NC State’s. StateFansNation has the Wolfpack excitement covered.

Virginia didn’t have to sweat the way NC State, but that doesn’t mean the Cavs don’t also feel really good as UVA made their first NCAA appearance since 2007. StreakingtheLawn provides some initial thoughts on the Cavaliers NCAA opponent the Florida Gators.

DukeHoopBlog is realistic that Blue Devils as a 2 seed in a bracket with Kentucky won’t be an easy path to the Final 4. Like they said though, you can’t ever underestimate Coach K.

TarHeelFanBlog thinks UNC got a pretty decent bracket as 1 seed in the Midwest. Honestly they only have to play decently before a potential matchup with Kansas in the Elite 8. If the Jayhawks lose before then the Heels could cruise into the Final 4 especially if John Henson is healthy.

TarHeelFanBlog also addressed the sanctions handed down today to the football team by the NCAA.   It’s not crippling in my opinion but hardly a slap on the wrist. This one is going to sting for awhile.
