Duke/Georgia Tech Box Score
Notes: Georgia Tech held JJ Redick to 5-21 shooting, but turned the ball over too much to hold off Duke in a 73-66 Blue Devil win.  Despite his poor shooting, Redick finished with 22 pts, with exactly half of his points coming from the free throw line where he finished 11-12.  Shelden Williams was a dominant force for Duke with Redick struggling, as he finished with 26 pts and 11 rebs.

For the Yellow Jackets, the 20 turnovers were just too much to overcome.  Sophomore guard, Zam Fredrick finished with 9 turnovers to match his 9 assists (13 pts).  Jeremis Smith led the way for Georgia Tech with 18 pts and 12 rebs while RaSean Dickey added 14 pts and 6 rebs.

Wake Forest/Clemson Box Score
Notes: In a game only hardcore ACC fans would care about, Wake Forest beat Clemson 74-68 in overtime.  Wake trailed early, while Justin Gray struggled, but Eric Williams carried them through the tough stretch and kept the Demon Deacons in the game.  Williams finished with 19 pts and 5 rebs, while Justin Gray shot 4-11 from the field and finished with 13 pts.

For Clemson, Vernon Hamilton was back in action, although his play wasn't as effective as earlier in the season.  Shawan Robinson still started in Hamilton's place, and finished with 15 pts, as did Cliff Hammonds (15 pts, 6 asts).  Freshman KC Rivers led the way with 16 pts and 4 rebs on 4-7 from 3 point range.

Miami/Virginia Tech Box Score
Notes: Guillermo Diaz was unstoppable for Miami, and led the Hurricanes to a 70-59 win over Virginia Tech.  Diaz finished with 29 pts, going 10-14 from the field in the win.  Robert Hite was 3-10 from the field for 8 pts, but did finish with a team-high 8 rebounds, while Anthony Harris finished with 10 pts.

For Virginia Tech, Zabian Dowdell didn't start the game for violating team rules, but still finished with a team-high 15 pts and 6 rebs.  AD Vassallo matched Dowdell's scoring efforts with 15 pts.

FSU/Maryland Box Score
Notes: With center, Alexander Johnson, in foul trouble Al Thornton stepped up his play to lead FSU to a 71-60 win over Maryland.  Alexander Johnson had 2 fouls in the first 2 minutes of the game and sat the remainder of the first half, but despite this FSU led by 10, thanks in large part to Thornton.  Al Thornton finished with 27 pts and 12 rebs on 10-15 shooting.  Isaiah Swann was the only other Florida State player in double figures, finishing with 12 pts and 4 asts.

For Maryland, Nik Caner-Medley led the way with 19 pts, but the only other double figure scorer was Ekene Ibekwe with 15 pts to go along with 8 rebs.  Mike Jones, who has stepped up his scoring since Chris McCray left the team finished with only 2 pts on 1-7 shooting.

UNC/NC State Box Score
Notes: David Noel had a monster game and led the Tarheels to an easy 95-71 win over their state rival, NC State.  Noel finished with 25 pts and 11 rebs, including 3-6 shooting from behind the arc.  Reyshawn Terry (20 pts), Tyler Hansbrough (17 pts, 5 rebs), and Wes Miller (15 pts, 6 asts) all added double figure scoring as well.  The Heels shot 54% from the field and made nearly 40% from behind the arc at 10-26.

In the first half, both the Wolfpack and Tarheels were equally efficient scoring 1.1 pts per possession, but thanks to a huge offensive rebounding advantage, the Tarheels had 11 more possessions.  Those 11 more possessions led to the 12 point lead the Tarheels had going into halftime.

NC State simply couldn't make big shots, and relied on the 3 point shot too heavily to have a chance in this one.  The Wolfpack ended up 6-25 from 3 point range.  Andrew Brackman (16 pts), Engin Atsur (16 pts, 4 rebs), and Cedric Simmons (14 pts, 5 rebs) led the way for the Wolfpack.
