Ilian Evtimov sat out due to a sprained foot injured on Wednesday night against Georgia Tech. Also adding double figures were backcourt mates, Tony Bethel (19 pts) and Engin Atsur (14 pts, 5 rebs).
Virginia Tech was outscored by the Pack 36-3 from outside of the arc, which was ultimately too much to counteract. Coleman Collins led the way for the Hokies with 15 pts and 11 rebs, while Jamon Gordon (11 pts, 6 stls) and Zabian Dowdell (10 pts, 5 asts) added double figures as well.

Notes: Florida State got 7 threes from 6th year senior Andrew Wilson in their 76-62 win over Virginia. Alexander Johnson got his 5th double double in the past 7 games, finishing with a career high in rebounds with 13 and blocks with 5. Johnson added 15 pts, including a perfect 7-7 from the free throw line. The Noles put 5 players in double figures with Al Thornton (10 pts), Todd Galloway (12 pts, 5 asts), and Jason Rich (10 pts) joining Wilson and Johnson.
For Virginia, Sean Singletary was held scoreless in the first half, but finished with 12 pts, while JR Reynolds led the way with 18 pts. Adrian Joseph also finished in double figures with 12 pts and 5 rebs. Jason Cain had a near double double with 8 pts and 12 rebs.
Maryland/Georgia Tech Box Score
Notes: In a game where Maryland turned the ball over 26 times, they still managed to win in overtime 87-84 over Georgia Tech. The Terps were led by 21 pts from Mike Jones, but Ekene Ibekwe sparked the Terps in the overtime. Ibekwe finished with 14 pts and 10 rebs, but 5 of his points came in OT.
