Ilian Evtimov was injured in NC State's win over Florida State on Wednesday night and did not play in the second half. After the game, X-rays were negative and Evtimov had an MRI on Thursday.
The results of the MRI showed no ligament tears, and evtimov was subsequently diagnosed with a sprained foot.
The status for Evtimov on Saturday against Virginia Tech is currently up in the air. Expect Evtimov to be a game time decision, and look for Andrew Brackman to get the start if Evtimov is unable to play.
