NC State/FSU Box Score
Notes: NC State shot 64% from the field, including 57% from 3 point range in their 86-64 win against FSU on Wednesday night.  Engin Atsur led the way with 19 pts and 8 asts, including 5-6 from 3 point range.  Cam Bennerman (12 pts, 5 rebs), Tony Bethel (13 pts), Cedric Simmons (14 pts), and Andrew Brackman (12 pts, 5 rebs, 5 asts) all reached double figures as well.

Ilian Evtimov injured his left foot in the game and didn't play in the second half.  Evtimov had an X-ray last night, and it came back negative.  The Pack will get an MRI of Evtimov's foot today to find out more.

For Florida State, Alexander Johnson led the way with 15 pts and 9 rebs, while Al Thornton added 14 pts.  The Noles had 23 turnovers, and virtually no perimeter defense.

UNC/Georgia Tech Box Score
Notes: In a tale of two halves, UNC was led by 40 pts and 10 rebs from freshman Tyler Hansbrough, in their 82-75 win over Georgia Tech.  The Heels trailed by as much as 20 pts, at 50-30, but fought back and turned up the defense.

Georgia Tech was led by Anthony Morrow, who had 18 pts in the first half, but finished with 22 pts.  Zam Frederick (15 pts, 4 asts) and RaSean Dickey (13 pts) were the only other Yellow Jackets in double figures.

For the Heels, it was all Tyler Hansbrough all the time.  Georgia Tech elected to not double team the freshman, and Hansbrough made them pay.  By himself, Hansbrough shot as many free throws as the Yellow Jackets, going 14-19 from the line.  Hansbrough set records for points scored by a freshman in the ACC, and points scored in the Dean Dome.

Non-Conference

Virginia won outside of conference against Longwood 91-56.
