Duke/Wake Forest Box Score
Notes: On a night where JJ Redick passed Curtis Staples to become the all-time leader in 3 point shots made, Duke beat Wake Forest 93-70.  Redick scored 30+ once again with 33 pts and also added 4 asts and 4 stls.  Shelden Williams played well also with 16 pts, 7 rebs, and 3 blks, but the story for Duke may be their supporting cast.  Josh McRoberts is developing into the player he was expected to be when he came to Duke, and finished with 16 pts and 4 asts on 5-5 shooting and 5-5 from the free throw line.  Also playing well was Demarcus Nelson with 10 pts and 7 rebs, which just adds to the depth of the Blue Devils making them a much more difficult team.

For Wake Forest, 18 turnovers were too much to overcome, but Eric Williams did play well, finishing with 17 pts and 13 rebs.  Justin Gray finished with 18 pts and 7 rebs, but on 7-22 shooting.  Trent Strickland and Harvey Hale both reached double figures as well with 10 pts a piece.

Maryland/Clemson Box Score
Notes: Once again Clemson takes care of the Terps, this time at Littlejohn Coliseum, 89-77.  Shawan Robinson started for the Tigers, in place of Vernon Hamilton who has an injured thumb and elbow, and finished with 24 pts and 5 asts to lead the way for the Tigers.  Akin Akingbala added a double-double with 14 pts and 13 rebs, while Cliff Hammonds added 17 pts.

For Maryland, 26 turnovers, 15 of which were on Tiger steals, led to too many transition baskets.  Nik Caner-Medley played well again with 21 pts and 12 rebs, while Mike Jones added 19 pts and 4 rebs.  Both Ekene Ibekwe and DJ Strawberry added 10 pts as well.
