- Virginia at Maryland 7 PM RSN - Maryland needs this one to avoid losing their 4th straight game and to avoid dropping below the .500 mark. This road win would be huge for Virginia as it would move them to 6-4 and get an all important road conference win. Watch for the Sean Singletary/DJ Strawberry matchup which pits the best point guard in the ACC against perhaps the best on-ball defender in Strawberry.
- Duke at UNC 9 PM RJ/ESPN - The Duke Blue Devils go into Chapel Hill where this storied rivalry writes it's next chapter. While most will key on the matchup of All-ACC players, Shelden Williams and Tyler Hansbrough, the key to this game may well be on the boards. UNC should have a significant advantage here with Reyshawn Terry, David Noel, and Hansbrough. The other key will be ball management, particularly for the Heels who must take care of the ball against the Blue Devil defense. The Heels will most likely start Terry on JJ Redick, but Marcus Ginyard will get some time on him as well. Also particularly interesting to watch will be the battle of freshman point guards, UNC's Bobby Frasor against Duke's Greg Paulus.
