Tonight there are three games in conference play, led by the marquee matchup of the week, Duke going to Chestnut Hill to play Boston College.  Here are some thoughts on the matchups, followed the Webmaster's predictions.

  • Clemson at FSU 7 PM - Clemson and FSU both come off overtime home losses this past weekend, and both would like to bounce back on Wednesday night.  Clemson should have a hard time matching up with Al Thornton, who is looking to bounce back after a scoreless effort this weekend.
  • Virginia at NC State 7 PM RSN - Virginia continues a tough series of road games when they visit the Wolfpack.  For Virginia to have a chance, they will have to find a way to stop Cedric Simmons who is becoming the focal point of the Pack offense.
  • Duke at Boston College 9 PM ESPN - Duke looks to remain undefeated in the ACC while Boston College looks to win their 5th straight in conference play.  The Blue Devils will have to find a way to stop Craig Smith, who has been dominating in ACC play thus far, although Jared Dudley is likely to be the tougher matchup for Duke.

Predictions

FSU over Clemson by 3
NC State over Virginia by 8
Duke over Boston College by 5
