According to ESPN, Deron Washington has been suspended one game for the kick to Lee Melchionni in last night's Duke/Virginia Tech game.
This will leave Virginia Tech without both Coleman Collins and Deron Washington in their game on Saturday against Wake Forest. The Hokies are likely to start Markus Sailes and either Chris Tucker or Cheick Diakite to replace the two missing starters. The Hokies will have a difficult time guarding Eric Williams and the Wake Forest frontline without their two frontcourt starters.
