Maryland/Georgia Tech Box Score
Notes: Despite 25 turnovers and thanks in large part to Nik Caner-Medley, the Maryland Terrapins beat Georgia Tech 86-74.  Caner-Medley finished with 33 pts and 9 rebs and 15-16 from the free throw line.  No other player for the Terps scored more than Mike Jones 12 pts, who stepped into the starting lineup replacing the ineligible Chris McCray.  The Terps combatted the turnover problem by outrebounding the Yellow Jackets 41-26.

For Georgia Tech, Anthony Morrow led the way with 18 pts, while RaSean Dickey matched his effort with 18 pts and 11 rebs.  Sophomore, Jeremis Smith had a foul-plagued game and managed only 8 pts and 5 rebs before fouling out.

UNC/Boston College Box Score
Notes: Boston College put on a passing show in the Dean Dome in their 81-74 win over the Tarheels.  BC finished with 23 assists against only 9 turnovers while North Carolina managed 18 assists and 19 turnovers.  Leading the way for the Eagles in the assist column was All-American Craig Smith with 7 assists to go with this 16 pts and 5 rebs.  Jared Dudley led BC in scoring with 17 pts and added 8 rebs, while freshman Tyrese Rice played well finishing with 16 pts and 5 asts.

For North Carolina 2 freshman led the way once again.  Tyler Hansbrough had 26 pts and 8 rebs, including the first 3 of his career while Danny Green played well while trying to bring the Heels back and finished with 16 pts.  The Tarheels simply need to take care of the ball better.

Both teams now fall to 3-3 in the conference.

Out of Conference Note:

Seton Hall/NC State Box Score
Notes:  In a disappointing loss to Seton Hall 83-65, the Wolfpack just didn't show up.  Uncharacteristically, the Pack managed only 10 assists against 16 turnovers and shot only 38% from the field.  Herb Sendek noted after the game that is was a problem with desire, which points directly at Sendek for not preparing his team.
