According to GoDuke.com, Demarcus Nelson suffered a bone bruise against Maryland on Wednesday evening. Nelson is considered doubtful for Duke's next game against Clemson on Saturday.
Nelson probably could play if the Blue Devils had to have him, but most likely they will choose to hold him out for precautionary reasons.
As it stands, picking up Nelson for the 2nd mini-season stands to be a risky decision.
