Boston College/Georgia Tech Box Score
Notes: Georgia Tech moved to 2-0 in the early ACC season protecting their homecourt in a 60-58 win over Boston College. The Eagles dropped to 2-0, with both games on the road so far in the conference scheduled. Georgia Tech got 16 pts and 9 rebs from their Smith, Jeremis Smith, while Anthony Morrow added 15 pts, 4 asts, and 4 rebs. The other Smith in this game, Craig Smith, had a monster game with 26 pts and 7 rebs, but it just wasn't enough for Al Skinner's team. Paul Hewitt's team also saw the return of freshman Lewis Clinch.
Duke/Wake Forest Box Score
Notes: Despite serious foul trouble to Shelden Williams, Duke still beat Wake Forest 82-64 on Sunday evening. With Shelden Williams and Josh McRoberts both in early foul trouble, the Blue Devils still extended the lead, thanks in large part to JJ Redick. Redick, who is seemingly unguardable this year, scored 32 pts when Duke needed them most. For Wake Forest, Eric Williams dominated the game in the 1st half, but seemed to disappear in the 2nd, finishing with 17 pts and 8 rebs, while Justin Gray also added 17 pts to go along with 4 asts. The Blue Devils saw the return of Demarcus Nelson, as we posted here on Saturday evening, although Coach K said before the game that he would've rather not played Nelson.
