Five games tonight for the ACC

Tonight, the ACC has five teams in action. Georgia Tech hosts a 9-1 Vanderbilt team that has yet to play any real competition outside of a win over Georgetown and a loss to Cincinnati. Georgia Tech is a young team, and needs to get this home win to get some confidence going into the conference schedule.

The other interesting matchup of the night is UMASS going to Boston College for a local rivalry game. BC is still working their way into playing with their center Sean Williams. Williams has yet to make a big impact in the box score, but needs Williams against UMASS whose leading scorer is 6-9 Rashaun Freeman.

The three other ACC games tonight are NC State hosting UNCG, who is fresh off playing the Blue Devils. Wake Forest hosts East Carolina in a game the Demon Deacons should handle pretty easily.

UNC hosts Davidson, a team the Tarheels better not take lightly. Davidson beat UMASS, St Joseph's, Missouri, and lost at Syracuse by only 10. With #12 NC State on Saturday, the Tarheels cannot afford to look past Davidson.
