After a 3-1 performance with this weekday's games, the Game Sim's record goes to 53-15 on the season in picking games, based upon the average predicted score from all sims. You can see this average predicted score on our NCAA Scoreboard page now. Let's take a trip through this weekend's games and see what might happen...
Virginia Tech @ Virginia Saturday 1 PM
After Virginia upset the Hokies at home earlier in the year, you can bet Virginia Tech had this one circled on their calendar. Virginia Tech led nearly throughout the game, but Virginia had a chance to take their first lead on the last play of the game. A Joe Harris 3 rimmed out that would have given Virginia the win, but with the miss it gave the Hokies a 66-64 win. Malcolm Delaney led Virginia Tech with 17 points while Victor Davila added 15 points and 6 rebounds. Mustapha Farrakhan scored 23 points and Joe Harris finished with 15 points in the loss.

FSU @ Wake Forest Saturday 1 PM
Florida State took the floor for the first time this season without Chris Singleton, but for at least one game the Seminoles didn't need him. Boston College @ UNC Saturday 4 PM
North Carolina didn't blow out BC like they did in Chestnut Hill, but the Heels will tell you a win is a win. UNC defeated Boston College 64-59 behind solid defense and a balanced scoring attack. Harrison Barnes led UNC with 12 points, while Tyler Zeller added 11 points, and John Henson added a double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds. North Carolina held BC to 33% shooting from the floor. The key was Dexter Strickland's defense on Boston College's Reggie Jackson, who made just 2 of 14 shots attempted. Joe Trapani led BC with 12 points in the loss.
Clemson @ Miami Sunday 3:30 PM
Clemson trailed by 5 early, but went on a 17-3 run in the first half and never looked back beating Miami 69-58. Georgia Tech @ Duke Sunday 7:45 PM
As a coach once told me, on some nights your the bug and some nights your the windshield. In this one, Georgia Tech was the bug and Duke was the windshield as the Blue Devils defeated the Yellow Jackets 88-56. Duke jumped out to 24-7 lead in the first 8 minutes and never looked back. Nolan Smith led Duke with 24 points and added 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Seth Curry (19 pts), Kyle Singler (15 pts), and Andre Dawkins (10 pts) also reached double-figures for Duke.
