Championship Saturday is upon us! That's all you need to know. This week is real top heavy with several great games then it drops off quickly. It left me digging deep to fill out my usual 11 games to keep an eye on.

Pittsburgh looked awful against West Virginia last week. Cincinnati is the cure to anything that ails a college football team.

Oregon St. is just schizophrenic enough that they could throw a scare into the Ducks. Oregon is so close to the national title game they can smell it.

Auburn (12-0) vs South Carolina (9-3) 4:00 CBS
Cam Newton's father broke NCAA rules by soliciting his son. Cam Newton is eligible to play football, but daddy Cecil Newton will have "limited" access to Auburn athletics. Yeah I don't understand any of these either, but I do know that Cam Newton is the best player in America.

Why would I put a down a game with two teams that have 7 combined wins? It's the rivalry called the Apple Cup come on! You can watch Washington's QB Jake Locker too.

Florida St. comes in playing some the best football in the ACC the last couple of weeks. Virginia Tech comes in playing some of the best football in the ACC since the 2nd week of September.

Connecticut (7-4) at South Florida (7-4) 8:00 ESPN2
Connecticut will win the Big East's championship if they win this game. South Florida is coming off a rock solid win against the Miami Hurricanes, that ended up getting Randy Shannon fired.

Nebraska (10-2) vs Oklahoma (10-2) 8:00 ABC
Bob Stoops showed the nation he can still win a big game when the Sooners went into Stillwater and beat a very good Oklahoma St team. Nebraska's QB Taylor Martinez might not be 100%. It will Nebraska's last game in the Big 12.

You know I luv Lane Kiffen. The Trojans are 3-5 in their last eight games. Kiffen will set things right. He's an excellent coach with a great reputation. USC is so lucky to have him.
