5. Miami (6-3). The quarterback position still is an issue, despite the win.
6. Georgia Tech (5-4). Is what we saw from Tevin Washington a trend or mirage?
7. Maryland (6-3). The Terps played pretty well, but just couldn’t pull it out.
8. Clemson (5-4). How did they win?
9. Boston College (4-5). The defense took charge against Wake Forest.
10. Virginia (4-5). Over 600 total yards, and they still lost.
11. Duke (3-6). The Blue Devils capitalized off of Virginia turnovers and penalties.
12. Wake Forest (2-7). The first team from the ACC to be ineligible for a bowl.
