1. Florida State (5-1). The Noles showed they are the team to beat in the ACC.
2. NC State (5-1). They showed no signs of hang over from the Virginia Tech game.
3. Virginia Tech (4-2). They were outgained by Central Michigan, but the Hokies still blew them out.
4. Georgia Tech (4-2). The combo of Josh Nesbitt and Anthony Allen ran all over Virginia’s defense.
5. Maryland (4-1). The Terps had a bye week to prepare for Clemson.
6. Miami (3-2). It was a pretty embarrassing performance at home against Florida State.
7. North Carolina (3-2). The Heels have won three in a row after beating Clemson.
8. Clemson (2-3). The Tigers outgained UNC, but had three more penalties and 32 more penalty yards.
9. Wake Forest (2-4). Tanner Price may have emerged as QB of the future.
10. Virginia (2-3). The defense has some work to do in stopping the run.
11. Boston College (2-3). BC fans are hoping they’ve seen the last of Dave Shinskie at QB.
12. Duke (1-4). The best news for Duke is that they didn’t lose last week.
