[Defensive end Bruce Miller] was one of many veterans on the Knights' roster who played their first college football game against the Wolfpack in 2007. He got his first career sack during the Knights' memorable 25-23 upset at N.C. State.

When he was asked what he remembered from the N.C. State win, Miller grinned and said, "Sack for a safety. I remember Kevin Smith running down the sideline. I remember 85,000 fans screaming. I was like, `Holy cow, this is cool.' "

The crowd wasn't quite that big. N.C. State announced an crowd of 57,283 at Carter-Finley Stadium, but Miller's teammates agree the atmosphere was intense.

UCF prepares for NC State. It's always nice to see players from other teams speak highly of the atmosphere at Carter-Finley, even if their memories are a little fonder than we'd like.
