Duke Blue Devils’ recruit Austin Rivers, who set his visits to Duke and the UNC Tarheels as covered here, fought off a wrist injury from a nasty spill to take home a share of the MVP Award in last night’s All-Star game in Venice Beach. While little defense was played, there were quite a few highlight reel plays on the concrete courts made famous by the movie White Men Can’t Jump.
