Ankle problems have ended the career of N.C. State freshman defensive tackle Deion Roberson.
Other players who didn't practice at full strength Tuesday included running back Brandon Barnes (who's supposed to return from an ankle injury in October); offensive tackle Duran Christophe (mononucleosis, mid-August); defensive end Sylvester Crawford (hip, mid-August); wide receiver Steven Howard (hip, mid-August), and offensive guard R.J. Mattes (knee, September).
Injury update. Roberson was a two-star kid in the '09 class.
