According to Jeff Goodman and Eagle in Atlanta, Boston College has picked up a 2nd transfer this week in Oregon's Matt Humphrey.
Another day, another transfer. This time Donahue landed former Oregon wing Matt Humphrey. Like Taylor, Humphrey will sit out next season and have two years remaining when he does suit up. He was a bit of a disappointment at Oregon given his recruiting rating coming in, yet is supposed to be a good, high energy kid.
Humphrey is 6-5, 185 lbs and averaged 5.4 ppg and 2.5 rpg in 16.2 minutes per game last season for Oregon.
Here is more from OregonLive.com on Humphrey...
Humphrey had an injury-plagued season in 2009-10, averaging 5.4 points in 19 games. He missed two months with a knee injury, but his season highlight came in his second game back. In an overtime win at home against UCLA, he and E.J. Singler scored all the Ducks' 16 points (eight each) in the overtime.
He also had a career-best 17 points in a home win against Oregon State as a freshman.
Humphrey brought a streaky left-handed shot - he averaged more three-pointers than any Oregon player other than Tajuan Porter last season - and an emotional presence to the game. Perhaps no Ducks player had more fist pumps or displays of emotion than Humphrey.
Insert joke here about leading the team in fistpumps.
