We move along in our ACC position rankings. Next up are the offensive linemen. Always the unheralded workhorses of any offense, these are the 5 best the ACC has to offer. Everyone of these linemen is on the Outland Trophy watch list for 2010.

Completed and Upcoming rankings.

Running Backs | Quarterbacks | Wide Recievers | Tight Ends | Defensive Line | Cornerbacks | Safeties | Special Teams | Team Predictions

1) Rodney Hudson, Florida State

Not only is Rodney Hudson one of the best offensive linemen in the ACC, he is one of the very best offensive linemen in the country. At 6-2 282 lbs, the senior guard may seem slightly undersized, but Hudson is a relentless blocker. He has tremendous footwork, and has only been called for handful of penalties his entire time at Florida State. He could be a first round pick in the 2011 NFL draft.

2) Anthony Castonzo, Boston College

Anthony Castonzo has been a fixture on the Boston College offensive line since his freshman year. He's started 41 games for BC. Castonzo is a beast of a man at 6-7 295 lbs and is a projected first or second round NFL pick. He's great in pass protection and a strong run blocker. Who will BC running back Montel Harris will be running behind this year? My guess is Castonzo.

3) Orlando Franklin, Miami

To give you an idea Franklin's ability, he was versatile enough to be moved from the guard position to left tackle at the end of last season. The 6-7 318 lbs Sr, struggled early in his career with stamina issues, but has worked to make himself one of the conference's best linemen. He's a very good run blocker, and in early 2011 mock drafts is seen going as early as the second round.

4) Chris Hairston, Clemson

Clemson's Chris Hairston is just now starting to come into his own as an offensive lineman. He's has the size NFL Scout covet at 6-7 325 lbs. He is athletic lineman, but he had a knee injury that hampered his play at times last season. If Hairston plays to his potential this season, he could be a second - fourth round NFL pick.

5) Sean Bedford, Georgia Tech

When you have a frieght train of rushing attack like Georgia Tech's triple option offense, you need some talented offensive linemen. The C Sean Bedford is the best of the Jacket's linemen. Bedford is only 6-1 274 lbs, but that hasn't stopped this former walk-on from being an All-ACC caliber lineman. Did you know he's also an Aerospace Engineering major?
