What will he do for the Clippers? Now, granted they haven’t invited him for a workout, perhaps believing he will be drafted before #8. Nonetheless, should Aminu drop that far, they’d be hard-pressed not to draft him. His range of skills would bode well for the Clippers. Blake Griffin would have a running mate in the frontcourt, as each will be the beneficiary of Baron Davis’ alley-oops and no-look passes(pun intended). Add Eric Gordon in the mix and you have the makings of a great fastbreak starting lineup. Aminu’s a 2-way player whose hustle play should energize the Clippers, who can be lethargic at times. He’s also a coachable guy willing to learn the ropes and get better in all facets. In short, he’s the Anti-Al Thornton. Music to my ears.
