The NCAA released their latest APR numbers, and just like last year, State’s men’s basketball program fared quite well.
They posted a 990 out of a possible 1,000. This is a slight dropoff from last year’s score of 995, dropping them to 2nd place on the latest conference list behind Carolina’s 995.
Football continues to lag behind the median in APR scores, however. This year’s mark was 937, third-worst in the league, in front of only Maryland and FSU.
Speaking of Maryland, they posted another paltry number in men’s basketball, along with Georgia Tech (913 and 908, respectively). I’m not clear on when the NCAA steps in to begin stripping a program of scholarships, but Maryland and Georgia Tech have to be getting close. Keep your eyes peeled for news along those lines.
