From what I am reading on the internet, more specifically @InsideCarolina’s tweet, it sounds like Justin Knox (the 6′9″/240 lbs. forward that graduated from Alabama with a year left of eligibility) will be dressing for head coach Roy Williams this coming season. That should give the whole fan base a bit of relief as it seemed the Tar Heels would be pretty thin up front with just Tyler Zeller and John Henson on the roster. As I said in my post about Knox, it’s a win situation for all. If he can contribute he will have a chance to do so (especially with the way coach Williams likes to go deep in his bench), if he can not it is a one year scholarship and the coaching staff can have it right back to bring someone else to Chapel Hill in the 2011 season. The tweet said that more details would be coming soon, so, it’s time to wait and see for all of us…
