"... (At Colorado) he opened it up even more," Clark said. "You're limited at Air Force to a certain extent as to what kind of athlete you can get. When we got to Colorado, he opened it up even more. You won't find a better coach on the offensive side of ball. He has proven he can adapt to the guys he has. Guards are going to love him because likes to get out on the break."
If Wake hires Bzdelik, his top priority will be winning over a five-man recruiting class ranked among the 10 best in the nation.
"Coach is relentless. He'll be fine (recruiting) at Wake Forest," Clark said. " ... He's good in the home (visits). Parents will like him, and he's good with the kids, too. The recruiting grind is not an issue compared to 10-day road trips for 16 years in the NBA."
