An article in NorthJersey.com posted this nugget this morning...
Krzyzewski turned down a five-year, $40 million offer to coach Kobe Bryant and the Lakers in 2004. The Nets’ offer likely will be between $12 million and $15 million per season for Krzyzewski to be their coach and perhaps general manager, a source said.
This story first came about in February and Krzyzewski quickly dismissed it, but now that there is actually some money behind it, the offer is a bit more credible.
Let's be honest the odds of Krzyzewski leaving Duke are slim to none. If the numbers are true, one would have to wonder whether or not the offer may be too good to at least consider.
