Apparently UNC is taking the floor wearing this tonight:
This jersey is part of Nike’s Jordan 25th Anniversary series and quite frankly should be banned. Seriously, I can be accommodating when it comes to changing the football uniform, going all navy for a Thursday night game and such. However, the basketball uniform, especially the colors is sacrosanct in my mind. You cannot have a Tar Heel basketball team parading around on the court without a lick of Tar Heel blue on the uniform. Then again, if there was ever a time to toss a crappy uniform out there, this season would be it.
Of course the irony is if UNC actually wins tonight wearing this uniform we are all going to be clamoring for them to keep it.
