Obviously no one player can be blamed for Boston College's struggles this basketball season. I would, however; like to point out Josh Southern's stat line over the last 5 games: 1-8 FGs, 5 points, 2 rebounds.
Southern's minutes have been cut dramatically and he has played over 20 minutes just once since early December. Still you would like to see more contribution, especially on the glass, from one of the key members of the front court. I think Southern may be struggling to find his role on this team and clearly this is affecting his play.
