Jim Young at ACCSports.com has the story...
“We’re all extremely disappointed for Ed and for our entire team,” UNC coach Roy Williams said in a statement. “It’s hard to lose any starter, but when you lose someone likely for the rest of the season who does so many different things for your team it¹s a significant loss.”
According to UNC, the injury occurred with 9:16 left to play in UNC’s loss to Duke. At the time the score was tied at 43. Davis had his wrist taped and came back into the game, but did not score again. He finished with just four points.
Things just went from bad to worse for the Heels. The Duke game may be Davis' last with UNC as the sophomore big man is thought to be a top pick in the 2010 NBA Draft.
John Henson will likely move into the starting rotation until Tyler Zeller returns.
