"We watched a lot of film with the young man after our Purdue game, where he had some turnovers and didn’t do a good job of getting us in the offense. And we go out to Gonzaga and we really executed well in the half-court. I thought at (Duke) Sunday night we regressed a little bit. Duke deserves so much of the credit, where we didn’t run good half-court offense. We ran the break and Ish may have forced stuff a little bit. Then I think on Wednesday night at (North Carolina) we ran the ball very well and when we didn’t have it, we ran offense. I think on Saturday against a very good defensive team (Virginia) he did the same thing. We came out and really did a good job of executing in the half-court on offense.

Al-Farouq Aminu (SF, Wake Forest) - The good news is that Al-Farouq looks a little more comfortable with the ball than he did last year, meaning he doesn't dribble the ball off his foot or drop passes nearly every posession. But he's still very very far away from having anything resembling an offensive game, he's not strong enough to play the 4 in the NBA, and he has none of the skills you'd want out of a small forward. Other than the whole jumping out of the gym thing.

Wake Forest at Georgia Tech, 7 p.m. Thursday, ACC syndication/Fox Sports Florida/Fox Sports South/Northeast Sports Network: Tech has beaten Duke, Clemson and North Carolina, but lost twice to Florida State and fell to Virginia. The battle in the low post should be entertaining, with Tech's Gani Lawal and Derrick Favors battling Wake's Al-Farouq Aminu. Wake has won three of its past four. If the Demon Deacons can get by Tech, they have a shot to put together a nice winning streak with Miami, Virginia and Boston College to follow on the schedule.

Jeff Teague needs to be playing. You can talk in practice all you want about defending the in bounds pass and overplaying the three like Jeff did to open the second quarter, but I guarantee you he has it figured it out now.
