2010 commit Harrison Barnes has a blog on the Des Moines Register web site. It is fairly interesting look into his life. He mentions in a recent post that he is looking forward to playing with fellow future Heels Reggie Bullock and Kendall Marshall in the upcoming Nike Hoop Summit game.
Also, this week USA Basketball announced the participants for the 2010 USA Nike Hoop Summit Team and I was selected to play for the USA squad. I am very honored and humbled to be able to be apart of this team and I will take great pride in playing for my country. It’ll be nice to play on the same team as Kendall Marshall and Reggie Bullock for the first time and get a little bit of chemistry going before we step onto UNC’s campus this summer.
All three commits were named to the team which will play a game later this spring. The talk of developing chemisty with Bullock and Marshall is encouraging and supports my theory that these three will come in with a strong bond that can only help them on the court once they mesh with the rest of the team.
