Clemson' s Demontez Stitt is listed as questionable for the Tigers' next game on Tuesday night against Georgia Tech. Stitt injured his foot against NC State on Saturday and didn't play the final 13 minutes in the Tiger's 73-70 win. Stitt had an MRI on Sunday and no fracture was found confirming the initial diagnosis of a mid-foot sprain.
“I went to the hole, stepped on somebody’s foot and felt it twist a little bit,” Stitt said. “I’m pretty tough, but I tried to run on it and I felt like I couldn’t really put pressure on it. I guess it’s part of the game.”
...
“I wanted to be out there, but we came out with the win and that’s what counts.”
Andre Young will be the beneficiary of any minutes Stitt misses. As of now, it appears Stitt will be a game-time decision for Clemson's game on Tuesday against the Yellow Jackets.
